Further North to Fife, Scotland

January 2016:

We’re staying at Balbirne House.

It looks so peaceful and quiet.

Okay. . . so there wasn’t much quiet to be found there. One would never expect to hear this type of music there.

Thank goodness for my iPod and earbuds. 

Edinburgh

Late December 2015: 

We’re off to Scotland. It’s cold and gray and beautiful. We’re staying at Prestonfield House.

New Year’s Eve day we toured Edinburgh Castle.

That night we stayed inside during the Hogmanay celebration

On New Year’s day we visited Holyrood Palace.
